Fees, cancellation, and returns
Mirrorstreampoint charges for commissioned studies, not for goods on a shelf. This page covers fees already paid, cancellation, rescheduling, and when money can be returned.
Eligibility
A return is considered when we have not yet locked the sample, or when we cannot deliver the study we confirmed. Once interviewers have left for the field, costs already spent on those days are not returned. A deposit of forty percent is due when the sample is locked; it pays for design and the first field days.
Timeframe
Write to hello@mirrorstreampoint.digital within fourteen days of a cancellation decision. We answer within ten working days with either a confirmation of the return or a statement of costs already incurred.
Full or partial return
- Full return of sums received: we decline the brief after payment, or we cannot staff the agreed towns and you do not accept a narrower geography.
- Partial return: you cancel after the sample is locked but before the first interviewer day; design time is kept, unused field budget is returned.
- No return of field spend: cancellation after interviewers have started, or after a diary week is in progress.
Non-refundable items
Translation of an instrument already printed, interviewer days already worked, and travel inside Georgia already taken. Extra visualization boards already drawn. The readout slot itself, if you do not attend and do not reschedule in time.
Process
Send the study name, the estimate reference, and the reason. We confirm in writing. Returns are made to the same account or card that paid, within fifteen working days after confirmation. Bank charges on the return, if any, are deducted only when the bank requires it.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a readout once, with five working days’ notice, at no extra fee. A second move, or a move with less notice, is charged as a half-day in the room. A no-show at a locked readout is not refunded; the bound report is still delivered.
Work already started
Weighting and drawing that have begun are paid work. If you cancel during drawing, you receive whatever plates are finished, marked as incomplete, and the remaining fee for unfinished plates is not charged.
Deposits
The forty percent deposit is applied to the final invoice. It is returned only under the full-return cases above.
Exceptions
There are no physical goods, subscriptions, or classroom seats on this site, so those forms of return do not apply. Household respondents are not charged and have nothing to reclaim from us.
